Late arrivals
We do our best to stay on schedule. If you arrive more than 15 minutes past your appointed time, you may need to be rescheduled so that other patients are not inconvenienced.

Cancellations/ Missed appointments
Our appointment times are very important to help accommodate everyone. When it is necessary to cancel your appointment, we ask that you please notify our office at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time. Another patient who needs our care could be scheduled if we have sufficient time to notify them. We realize that unexpected things can happen, but we thank you for your consideration in this matter!!

Emergency Visits
Our schedule may have to be delayed in order to accommodate a patient who is injured. We sincerely apologize in advance should an emergency occur during your child’s appointment. Please understand we will do the same if your child is ever in need of emergency care.

How are Appointments Scheduled?
We make every effort to schedule appointments at your convenience. Preschool children should be seen in the morning because they are usually well-rested and more amenable. This also allows us to work more slowly with them for their comfort.

School age children with extensive treatment needed (i.e. fillings, extractions, etc.) should be seen in the morning for the same reason, as we generally recommend the use of nitrous oxide (sweet air/ laughing gas) for most children.

Dental appointments are an excused absence, and we will give you a note for school. Please keep in mind, missing school can be kept to a minimum when regular dental care is practiced.
